We’ve got lots of great things happening on the Dive Bar Tour!
After we’re all recovered from the raging awesomeness of Bernstock, Archer will be opening for Timmy and the Vigilantes at Time Out.
And on Saturday, the 14th, Rough Age and Wild Hares will be at Kinfolks in Manitou:
And finally, n May 21, Rough Age and Wild Hares will be heading down to Bingo Burger in Pueblo, joined by James Rice of In Much of Madness.

The inaugural Dive Bar Songwriters Meetup was sparsely attended but a lot of fun. I was floored by the quality of writing and musicianship from the people that showed up.

Archer is hosting a Songwriters Meetup this Wednesday at Rilea’s Pub. If it goes well we’ll make it a monthly occurrence.
There are a lot of “jams” and open mics in town, but there’s a real dearth of opportunities for songwriters to talk shop free of distraction. We highly value good songwriting. In the words of Tom Waits, “The world is a hellish place, and bad writing is destroying the quality of our suffering.” 😉

Greetings, drinkers! My name is Archer, and I am here for cheap beer and live music.
I have committed myself to a sacred mission for 2016: to play original music in every last dive bar in town. Some of these appearances are going to be multiple-band showcases, and some are going to be solo acoustic sets. Whatever the circumstances, I’m going to be making connections in the local nightlife & music scene, posting pictures & reviews on this blog, and meeting new drinking buddies.

For starters, I’m the host of this enterprise, so you can expect at least a short intro set from one my projects, professional promotion, and a rotating cast of other talented musicians. Our focus is going to be on original music in “bar-friendly” genres, but we’re here to have fun and every show is going to be different.
